His flower paintings are in the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. This one can be on your wall.

This is an original vintage lithograph of a floral bouquet of pink roses, forget-me-nots, and companion blooms — after the work of French master Jean Louis Prévost (1760–1810), from his celebrated series Collection des Fleurs et des Fruits. Marked: 3216 Floral (Prévost), Litho in U.S.A. Circa 1940s–1950s. Seven available. Unframed.

Jean Louis Prévost was born in Nointel, France in 1760 and became one of the most celebrated still-life painters of his era, renowned for flower arrangements of exceptional botanical accuracy and painterly beauty rendered in both oil and watercolor. His works were reproduced as color plates for botanical books during his lifetime and for decades after his death in 1810. Today his originals and lithographic reproductions are in the permanent collection of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. These advertisement prints — produced for use in calendars, thermometers, postcards, and hand fans — are now among the most sought-after vintage botanical prints in the American decorative market. New Old Stock, never used, in excellent condition. Very slight age toning on the paper; no folds or damaged corners.

A wonderful piece for a botanical print collector, a French art enthusiast, a home decorator, or anyone who appreciates the timeless beauty of 18th-century French flower painting.
